Through our vast client base of accredited investors with a combined net worth in excess of one billion dollars, Creation Capital has the ability to compete with the largest venture capital firms to provide capital from $1 million to $50 million for any company that fits within its investment criteria.
Our differentiating philosophy is that we strive to develop enduring relationships and forge lasting friendships with the individuals with whom we work. Unlike traditional venture capitalists, we will shepherd and guide an emerging company through every step of the capital building process. Advisory Board
Creation Capital’s Advisory Board is composed of esteemed members of the business and scientific communities with extensive backgrounds and experience in the life sciences and biotechnology arenas. Our Advisory Board assists in the evaluation of investment opportunities as well as often providing our client companies’ management team with consulting services and/or service on boards of directors.
Max Link, Ph.D.
Dr. Link is currently the Chairman of our Board of Directors for Amedica Corporation, one of our portfolio companies. Dr. Link served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Centerpulse AG, the largest orthopedics company in Europe, from March 2002 until October 2003, when Centerpulse was acquired by Zimmer Holdings, Inc. Prior to joining Centerpulse, Dr. Link served as the Chief Executive Officer at Corange Limited/Boehringer Mannheim and as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Sandoz Pharmaceuticals (now part of Novartis). Since 1994, Dr. Link has been actively involved as a director in numerous development stage companies in the healthcare and biopharmaceutical field both in the United States and in Europe, including Human Genome Sciences, Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Celsion Corporation and Discovery Laboratories. Dr. Link received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland in 1970.

Peter D. Meldrum, MBA
Mr. Meldrum is Chairman of the Board, and is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Myriad Genetics, Inc. since 1992. Prior to founding Myriad, Mr. Meldrum was President and Chief Executive Officer of Founders Fund, Inc., a venture capital group. He currently serves as a member of the Engineering National Advisory Council, University of Utah College of Science Advisory Board, the College of Business Advisory Board at Weber State University and the Executive Board of the Utah Life Sciences Association. Mr. Meldrum was a member of the Governor’s Council of Science and Technology and chaired the Governor’s Advisory Board concerning the regulation of the biotechnology industry in Utah. Mr. Meldrum was awarded Governor’s Medal for Science and Technology in 1998. Mr. Meldrum has been involved in the founding of several biotechnology companies including:
Myriad Genetics, Pharmadigm Biosciences, Sonix Innovations, Cognetix,Inc.
and Rosetta Inpharmatics, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Merck.

Louis J. Bevilacqua
Louis Bevilacqua is a partner in the New York office of Cadwalader and Chairman of the Corporate/Mergers & Acquisitions Department. His practice is concentrated in the area of mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance transactions and securities law. He represents clients in tender offers, mergers, leveraged buyouts, proxy contests, joint ventures, exchange offers and public and private offerings of debt and equity securities. He has represented many of the firm’s clients in their largest and most complex mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance transactions.
